UK exporters will gain from enhanced flexibility and competitiveness in support from UK Export Finance (UKEF) following the new international trade measures announced this week.

Countries participating in the OECD Arrangement On Officially Supported Export Credits – including the UK – have reached an important modernization agreement, allowing export credit agencies like UKEF to provide additional incentives for eco-friendly and green projects. UKEF now has the ability to extend repayment periods and introduce more flexible repayment schemes for a wider array of renewable and green initiatives.
Additionally, UKEF will be positioned to offer longer repayment terms and a more adaptable strategy for standard transactions, thereby ensuring competitive financial options in various other sectors.
Comprehensive information can be found on the OECD Export Credits webpage. This includes the updated text of the Arrangement و الأسئلة الشائعة.
