&mdash; including morphine, fentanyl, methadone, methylphenidate, tramadol, alprazolam (Xanax) and codeine combinations &mdash; require a personal import licence if your trip lasts more than three months. Consequently, apply at least 10 working days before travel via the Home Office Drugs &amp; Firearms Licensing Unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0391\u03be\u03b9\u03bf\u03c3\u03b7\u03bc\u03b5\u03af\u03c9\u03c4\u03b1, \u03b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/travelling-controlled-drugs\" rel=\"noopener\">UK Home Office controlled drug travel page<\/a> lists the controlled-drug schedules in detail. By contrast, ETA travellers on shorter visits (under three months) do not need a licence as long as the quantity is reasonable for personal use, the medicine is in original packaging, and the traveller carries a prescriber&rsquo;s letter. Importantly, the personal-use exemption does not cover supplying or sharing the drug with another person &mdash; that breaches section 4 of the Misuse of Drugs Act
